Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing the creature, targeting a player of your choice. |
2 | The Cauldron of Eternity and Verdant Succession both trigger. |
3 | Resolve The Cauldron of Eternity trigger first, putting the creature on the bottom of your library. |
4 | Resolve the Verdant Succession trigger, returning the creature to the battlefield. |
5 | Resolve the Altar of Dementia trigger, milling the targeted player. |
6 | Repeat. |
