Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Activate Cauldron of Essence by paying , tapping it and sacrificing another creature. |
2 | When the creature dies, Cauldron of Essence triggers, and Dross Scorpion triggers if the creature was an artifact. |
3 | Resolve the Cauldron of Essence trigger, causing you to gain 1 life and each opponent to lose 1 life. |
4 | Resolve the Dross Scorpion trigger, if applicable, untapping an artifact. |
5 | Resolve the Cauldron of Essence ability from step 1, returning Marionette Master from your graveyard to the battlefield. |
6 | When Marionette Master enters, it triggers, creating three creature tokens. |
7 | Activate Phyrexian Altar three times by sacrificing Marionette Master and two tokens, adding . |
8 | When Marionette Master and the tokens die, Dross Scorpion triggers three times, untapping Cauldron of Essence and two other artifacts. |
9 | Repeat. |
