Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing a green nontoken creature. |
2 | When the creature dies, Verdant Succession and Mortuary trigger. |
3 | Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting the creature on top of your library from your graveyard. |
4 | Resolve the Verdant Succession trigger, returning the creature from your library to the battlefield. |
5 | Repeat. |
