Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Activate Cormela by paying and tapping it, adding that can only be spent to cast instant and/or sorcery spells. |
2 | Cast Not Dead After All by paying , targeting Cormela. |
3 | Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Cormela, adding . |
4 | When Cormela dies, it triggers twice, as well as any Wicked Role tokens that may be attached to it. |
5 | If applicable, resolve the Wicked Role trigger, causing each opponent to lose 1 life. |
6 | Resolve the first Cormela trigger, returning Not Dead After All to your hand from your graveyard. |
7 | Resolve the second Cormela trigger, returning Cormela from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped, and attaching a Wicked Role token to it. |
8 | When Cormela enters the battlefield, Amulet of Vigor triggers, untapping it. |
9 | Repeat. |
