How does this combo work?
1 | Cast Kodama of the East Tree either from your hand or from the command zone by paying plus commander tax, if applicable. |
2 | Holding priority, cast Double Major by paying , copying the Kodama of the East Tree spell, with the copy not being legendary. |
3 | Resolve both Kodama of the East Tree spells. |
4 | Play Simic Growth Chamber. |
5 | Both Kodama of the East Trees and Simic Growth Chamber trigger. |
6 | Resolve the token Kodama of the East Tree trigger, choosing not to put anything from your hand onto the battlefield. |
7 | Resolve the Simic Growth Chamber trigger, returning it to your hand from the battlefield. |
8 | Resolve the nontoken Kodama of the East Tree trigger, putting Simic Growth Chamber from your hand onto the battlefield. |
9 | The token Kodama of the East Tree and Simic Growth Chamber trigger. |
10 | Resolve the Simic Growth Chamber trigger, returning it to your hand from the battlefield. |
