Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | At the beginning of combat, Helm of the Host will trigger, making a nonlegendary copy of Roalesk. |
2 | When the Roalesk token ETBs, put the 2 +1/+1 counters on Sage of Hours. |
3 | Attack with the nontoken Roalesk. |
4 | Mirror Mockery triggers, making a copy of Roalesk. |
5 | Place its ETB trigger onto the stack targeting Sage of hours, then sacrifice this token copy due to the legend rule, proliferating the +1/+1 counters on Sage of Hours up to 4. |
6 | Resolve the ETB trigger, increasing the total number of +1/+1 counters on Sage of Hours to 6. |
7 | Remove all +1/+1 counters from Sage of Hours to take an extra turn. |
8 | Repeat for infinite turns. |
