Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Play Gruul Turf. |
2 | When Gruul Turf enters the battlefield, it, Thranduil the Strategist, and Kodama of the East Tree trigger. |
3 | Resolve the Kodama of the East Tree trigger, choosing not to put anything from your hand onto the battlefield. |
4 | Resolve the Gruul Turf trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand. |
5 | Resolve the Thranduil the Strategist trigger, creating a token. |
6 | When the token enters the battlefield, Kodama of the East Tree triggers, putting Gruul Turf from your hand onto the battlefield. |
7 | When Gruul Turf enters the battlefield, it and Thranduil the Strategist trigger. |
8 | Repeat from step 4. |
