Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Cast Lumra by paying . |
2 | When Lumra enters, it triggers. |
3 | Holding priority, activate Trenching Steed by sacrificing a land. |
4 | Repeat step 3 until you control no lands. |
5 | When you sacrifice the last land, Lumra will die as a state-based action due to having 0 toughness. |
6 | Resolve the Lumra trigger from step 2, causing you to mill four cards and return all lands from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped. |
7 | When the lands enter, Emeria Shepherd triggers that many times. |
8 | Resolve an Emeria Shepherd trigger that was triggered by a Plains, returning Lumra from your graveyard to the battlefield. |
9 | Repeat from step 2. |
