What do I need to start this combo?
- All permanents on the battlefield (Goblin Engineer without summoning sickness on the battlefield).
- You control a nontoken artifact creature with mana value 3 or less. You have an artifact creature card in your graveyard with mana value 3 or less.

Steps
How does this combo work?
- 1Activate Goblin Engineer by paying, tapping it and sacrificing a nontoken artifact creature with mana value 3 or less, targeting another artifact creature with mana value 3 or less in your graveyard.
- 2When the artifact creature dies, Goblin Engineer and Crime Novelist triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it and adding.
- 3Resolve the Goblin Engineer ability, returning the targeted artifact creature from your graveyard to the battlefield.
- 4When the artifact creature enters, Intruder Alarm triggers, untapping all creatures.
- 5Repeat.
