How does this combo work?
1 | Activate Words of War by paying , replacing the next card you draw. |
2 | Attempt to draw a card, with the draw being replaced by Words of War dealing 2 damage to an opponent. |
3 | Niv-Mizzet triggers. |
4 | Holding priority, activate a mana-producing permanent by tapping it, adding at least . |
5 | Activate Words of War by paying , replacing the next card you draw. |
6 | Resolve the Niv-Mizzet ability, replacing the first card draw with Words of War dealing 2 damage to an opponent, and causing you to draw a card. |
7 | Niv-Mizzet triggers, holding priority, activate Mind Over Matter by discarding a card, untapping a mana-producing permanent. |
8 | Repeat from step 4. |
