Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Activate Coretapper's first ability by tapping it, putting a charge counter on Magistrate's Scepter. |
2 | Activate Coretapper's second ability by sacrificing it. |
3 | Fool's Demise goes to the graveyard from the battlefield as a state-based action. |
4 | Both of Fool's Demises triggered abilities trigger. |
5 | Resolve Fool's Demise's first triggered ability, returning Coretapper from your graveyard to the battlefield. |
6 | Resolve Fool's Demise second triggered ability, returning it from your graveyard to your hand. |
7 | Resolve Coretapper's ability from step 2, putting two charge counters on Magistrate's Scepter. |
8 | Activate Magistrate's Scepter's second ability by tapping it and removing three charge counters from it, taking an extra turn after this one. |
