Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Play any land that enters the battlefield untapped and can tap to produce |
2 | When the land enters the battlefield, Kodama of the East Tree and Down in the Valley trigger. |
3 | Resolve the Kodama of the East Tree trigger, choosing to put nothing onto the battlefield. |
4 | Resolve the Down in the Valley trigger, creating a creature token. |
5 | When the creature token enters the battlefield, Kodama of the East Tree triggers. |
6 | Holding priority, activate the land played in step 1 by tapping it, adding at least |
7 | Storm Cauldron triggers, returning the land from the battlefield to your hand. |
8 | Resolve the Kodama of the East Tree trigger, putting the land from your hand onto the battlefield. |
9 | When the land enters the battlefield, Down in the Valley triggers, creating a [type] creature token. |
10 | Repeat from step 5. |
