Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing a nontoken green creature, adding . |
2 | When the creature dies, Verdant Succession triggers. |
3 | Holding priority, activate Epitaph Golem by paying  , putting the creature from your graveyard onto the bottom of your library. |
4 | Resolve the Verdant Succession trigger, searching your library for the green creature and putting it onto the battlefield. |
5 | Repeat. |
