Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing God-Eternal Rhonas. |
2 | God-Eternal Rhonas dies, triggering itself and Verdant Succession. |
3 | Resolve the God-Eternal Rhonas trigger, putting it into your library third from the top. |
4 | Resolve the Verdant Succession trigger, searching your library for God-Eternal Rhonas, putting it onto the battlefield and shuffling your library. |
5 | God-Eternal Rhonas enters the battlefield, doubling the power of each other creature you control and giving them vigilance until end of turn. |
6 | Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability, causing target player to mill cards equal to God-Eternal Rhonas's power. |
7 | Repeat. |
