| Ghalta in the command zone. | |
| All other permanents on the battlefield (Gwenna without summoning sickness on the battlefield). | |
| Ghalta must be your commander. | |
| The total power of creatures you control is at least 10 plus Ghalta's commander tax. |
Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Activate Gwenna by tapping it, adding that can only be spent to cast creature spells or activate abilities of creatures. |
2 | Cast Ghalta from the command zone by paying . |
3 | Gwenna and Ascendant Packleader trigger. |
4 | Resolve the Gwenna trigger, untapping it and putting a +1/+1 counter on it. |
5 | Resolve the Ascendant Packleader trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on it. |
6 | Resolve Ghalta. Then, activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Ghalta. |
7 | Choose to return Ghalta to the command zone from your graveyard. |
8 | Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability. |
9 | Repeat. |
