Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Activate Sage of the Maze's second ability by tapping it, causing the Gate to become a creature. |
2 | Cast Springheart Nantuko for its bestow cost by paying , attaching it to the animated Gate. |
3 | Play a land. |
4 | When the land enters, Springheart Nantuko triggers. |
5 | Holding priority, activate Sage of the Maze's third ability by tapping an untapped Gate, untapping Sage of the Maze. |
6 | Activate Sage of the Maze's first ability by tapping it, adding . |
7 | Resolve the Springheart Nantuko trigger, causing you to pay to create a token copy of the Gate it is attached to. |
8 | Repeat from step 4. |
