Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Elvish Soultiller, adding one mana of any color. |
2 | Elvish Soultiller dies, triggering itself and Verdant Succession. |
3 | Resolve the Elvish Soultiller trigger, shuffling all Elves or Mutants from your graveyard into your library. |
4 | Resolve the Verdant Succession trigger, searching your library for Elvish Soultiller, putting it onto the battlefield and shuffling your library. |
5 | Repeat. |
