Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Woodfall Primus, adding . |
2 | When Woodfall Primus dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it. |
3 | When Woodfall Primus enters the battlefield, it and Surrak and Goreclaw triggers. |
4 | Resolve the Surrak and Goreclaw trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on Woodfall Primus and giving it haste until end of turn. |
5 | Holding priority, repeat from step 1. |
