Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the artifact creature, adding . |
2 | When the artifact creature dies, it and Crime Novelist trigger. |
3 | Resolve the artifact creature's trigger, returning the other artifact creature from your graveyard to your hand. |
4 | Resolve the Crime Novelist trigger, adding and putting a +1/+1 counter on it. |
5 | Cast the artifact creature from your hand by paying its mana cost. |
6 | Repeat. |
