Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Cast Eternity Vessel by paying  . Eternity Vessel enters the battlefield with a number of charge counters on it equal to your life total. |
2 | Activate Resourceful Defense by paying  , moving all charge counters from Eternity Vessel onto Magistrate's Scepter. |
3 | Activate Magistrate's Scepter's second ability by tapping it and removing three charge counters from it, causing you to take an extra turn after this one. |
4 | If Magistrate's Scepter has few than three charge counters on it, activate Meticulous Excavation by paying  , returning Eternity Vessel from the battlefield to your hand. |
5 | Repeat from step 3 during your next turn if Magistrate's Scepter has three or more charge counters on it. Otherwise, repeat from step 1. |
