Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Declare Phyrexian Vindicator as an attacker. |
2 | Holding priority, activate Catapult Squad by tapping two Soldiers, attempting to deal 2 damage to Phyrexian Vindicator. |
3 | The damage is prevented due to Phyrexian Vindicator's replacement effect. Phyrexian Vindicator triggers, dealing 2 damage to you. |
4 | Darien triggers, creating two 1/1 Soldier creature tokens. |
5 | When the Soldiers enter the battlefield, Case of the Uneaten Feast triggers twice, causing you to gain 2 life. |
6 | Repeat from step 2. |
