Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Elenda, adding . |
2 | Choose to return Elenda from your graveyard to the command zone. |
3 | When Elenda dies, it triggers, creating a number of 1/1 Vampire creature tokens equal to its power. |
4 | Cast Elenda from the command zone by paying  plus commander tax, if applicable. |
5 | Activate Blade of the Bloodchief's equip ability by paying  , attaching it to Elenda. |
6 | Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing a Vampire token, adding . |
7 | When the Vampire dies, Elenda and Blade of the Bloodchief trigger, putting three +1/+1 counters on Elenda. |
8 | Repeat from step 6 for each Vampire token. |
9 | Repeat from step 1. |
