How does this combo work?
1 | Activate Bloodflow Connoisseur by sacrificing Butcher Ghoul |
2 | When Butcher Ghoul dies, its undying ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it. |
3 | Resolve the Bloodflow Connoisseur ability. |
4 | Activate Bloodflow Connoisseur by sacrificing Butcher Ghoul |
5 | When Butcher Ghoul dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it. |
6 | Butcher Ghoul enters and dies as a state-based action due to having 0 toughness. Its undying ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it. |
7 | Resolve the Bloodflow Connoisseur ability from step 4. |
