Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Karmic Guide. |
2 | When Karmic Guide dies, South Wind Avatar triggers, causing you to gain 1 life and target opponent to lose 1 life. |
3 | Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability. |
4 | Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Junji. |
5 | When Junji dies, it and South Wind Avatar trigger. |
6 | Resolve the South Wind Avatar trigger, causing you to gain 1 life and target opponent to lose 1 life. |
7 | Resolve the Junji trigger, returning Karmic Guide from your graveyard to the battlefield and causing you to lose 2 life. |
8 | When Karmic Guide enters, it triggers, returning Junji from your graveyard to the battlefield. |
9 | Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability. |
10 | Repeat. |
