- Holding priority, activate Living Twister's second ability by paying , returning the Forest from the battlefield to your hand.
- Resolve the Kodama trigger, putting the Forest onto the battlefield from your hand.
- When the Forest enters the battlefield, Scute Swarm triggers.
- Repeat from step 4.
