Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Play a basic Forest card from your hand. |
2 | Kodama and each Scute Swarm you control trigger. |
3 | Resolve the Kodama trigger, choosing to put nothing onto the battlefield from your hand. |
4 | Holding priority, activate the basic Forest by tapping it, adding . |
5 | Resolve the first Scute Swarm trigger, creating either a 1/1 Insect creature token or a token copy of Scute Swarm. |
6 | When the creature token enters the battlefield, Kodama triggers. |
7 | Holding priority, activate Living Twister's second ability by paying , returning the Forest from the battlefield to your hand. |
8 | Resolve the Kodama trigger, putting the Forest onto the battlefield from your hand. |
9 | When the Forest enters the battlefield, Scute Swarm triggers. |
10 | Repeat from step 4. |
