Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Cast Cursed Mirror by paying , choosing to have it enter the battlefield as a copy of Etali. |
2 | Choose to put Etali into your graveyard due to the legend rule. |
3 | If Etali is your commander, choose not to return it to the command zone from your graveyard. |
4 | Cursed Mirror and Hua Tuo trigger. |
5 | Resolve the Hua Tuo trigger untapping it. |
6 | Activate Hua Tuo by tapping it, putting Etali on top of your library from your graveyard. |
7 | Resolve the Cursed Mirror trigger from step 4, causing you to exile cards from each player's library until you exile a nonland card, with you exiling Etali from your library, and cast Etali and any other nonland cards exiled this way without paying their mana costs. |
8 | Choose to put Etali into your graveyard due to the legend rule. |
9 | If Etali is your commander, choose not to return it to the command zone from your graveyard. |
10 | Etali and Hua Tuo trigger. |
11 | Resolve the Hua Tuo trigger untapping it. |
12 | Activate Hua Tuo by tapping it, putting Etali on top of your library from your graveyard. |
13 | Resolve the Etali trigger from step 10, causing you to exile cards from each player's library until you exile a nonland card, with you exiling Etali from your library, and cast Etali and any other nonland cards exiled this way without paying their mana costs. |
14 | Repeat from step 8. |
