Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Cast Phylath either from your hand or from the command zone by paying and commander tax, if applicable. |
2 | When Phylath enters the battlefield, its first ability and Cloudstone Curio trigger. |
3 | Resolve the Phylath trigger, creating at least six 0/1 Plant creature tokens. |
4 | When the Plants enter the battlefield, Cloudstone Curio triggers that many times. |
5 | Resolve the first trigger, returning Phylath to your hand from the battlefield. |
6 | Resolve all remaining triggers, choosing not to return anything to your hand. |
7 | Activate Phyrexian Altar six times by sacrificing six Plants, adding . |
8 | Repeat. |
9 | If you control seven or more basic lands, this combo nets infinite Plant tokens and infinite colored mana. |
