Steps
How does this combo work?
- 1Activate Thermopod by sacrificing the persist creature, adding
. - 2The sacrificed creature's persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
- 3The Great Henge triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on the persist creature and causing you to draw a card.
- 4The -1/-1 and +1/+1 counters are removed as a state-based action.
- 5Repeat.
