Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Activate Atla by paying and tapping it, creating an 0/1 Egg creature token with defender. |
2 | Activate a nontoken creature you control using the ability granted to it by Ghired by tapping it, creating a copy of the Egg token. |
3 | Activate Spawning Pit by sacrificing an Egg token. |
4 | When the Egg dies, Atla triggers, causing you to reveal cards from the top of your library until you reveal a creature card and put it onto the battlefield. |
5 | Resolve the Spawning Pit ability, putting a charge counter on Spawning Pit |
6 | Repeat from step 2. |
