Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Cast Abdel Adrian either from your hand or from the command zone by paying plus commander tax, if applicable. |
2 | When Abdel Adrian enters the battlefield, it and Molten Echoes trigger. |
3 | Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Karmic Guide until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield. |
4 | Resolve the Molten Echoes trigger, creating a token copy of Abdel Adrian. |
5 | Put the nontoken Abdel Adrian into your graveyard due to the legend rule, causing Karmic Guide to be returned from exile to the battlefield and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token. |
6 | Karmic Guide and the token Abdel Adrian trigger. |
7 | Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling nothing. |
8 | Resolve the Karmic Guide trigger, returning Abdel Adrian from your graveyard to the battlefield. |
9 | Put the token Abdel Adrian into your graveyard due to the legend rule. |
10 | Repeat from step 2. |
