What do I need to start this combo?
- Edgar Markov on the battlefield or in the command zone.
- Cloudstone Curio and Phyrexian Altar on the battlefield.
- You control a nontoken, nonartifact Vampire that can be cast using one colored mana. You have a nonartifact Vampire card in hand that can be cast using one colored mana. You have enough mana to cast the Vampire in hand.
Steps
How does this combo work?
- 1Cast the nonartifact Vampire from your hand by paying its mana cost.
- 2Edgar triggers, creating a 1/1 Vampire creature token.
- 3The nontoken Vampire enters the battlefield, triggering Cloudstone Curio, returning any other nontoken, nonartifact Vampire that can be cast using one colored mana from the battlefield to your hand.
- 4Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the Vampire token, adding one mana of any color.
- 5Repeat.
