How does this combo work?

2 | Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Karmic Guide |
3 | When Karmic Guide dies, Saffi triggers, returning Karmic Guide from your graveyard to the battlefield. |
4 | When Karmic Guide enters, it triggers, returning Saffi from your graveyard to the battlefield. |
5 | Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability. |
6 | Repeat. |
