Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Guile. |
2 | Guile and Verdant Succession trigger. |
3 | Resolve the Guile trigger, shuffling it into your library. |
4 | Resolve the Verdant Succession trigger, searching your library for Guile, putting it onto the battlefield and shuffling your library. |
5 | Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability from step 1, causing target player to mill cards equal to Guile's power. |
6 | Repeat. |
