Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Cast Burnt Offering by paying and sacrificing Scholar of the Ages, adding seven mana in any combination of and/or . |
2 | Cast Entreat the Dead for X = 1 by paying  , returning Scholar of the Ages from your graveyard to the battlefield. |
3 | Scholar of the Ages triggers, returning Burnt Offering and Entreat the Dead from your graveyard to your hand. |
4 | Repeat any number of times. |
5 | Once you have infinite mana, you may choose any amount for X in step 2. |
