Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Cast Whim of Volrath with buyback by paying . |
2 | Displacer Kitten and Vivi trigger. |
3 | Resolve the Vivi trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on it and dealing 1 damage to each opponent. |
4 | Holding priority, activate Vivi by paying  , adding at least  . |
5 | Resolve the Displacer Kitten trigger, blinking Vivi. |
6 | When Vivi enters the battlefield, Hero's Blade triggers, attaching Hero's Blade to Vivi. |
7 | Resolve Whim of Volrath, returning Whim of Volrath to your hand. |
