Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Cast any other spell, or wait for an opponent to cast one. |
2 | Cast Memory Lapse by paying |
3 | Thousand-Year Storm and Thrumming Stone trigger. |
4 | Resolve the Thousand-Year Storm trigger, creating at least one copy of Memory Lapse, with each copy targeting the original Memory Lapse. |
5 | Resolve the first copy of Memory Lapse, countering the original Memory Lapse and putting it on top of your library. |
6 | All remaining Memory Lapse copies fizzle due to no longer having a legal target. |
7 | Resolve the Thrumming Stone trigger from step 3, revealing the top four cards of your library and casting Memory Lapse without paying its mana cost. |
8 | Repeat from step 3. |
