Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Elenda, adding . |
2 | Elenda dies, triggering its second ability and Nim Deathmantle. |
3 | Resolve the Elenda trigger, creating at least one 1/1 Vampire creature token. |
4 | Resolve the Nim Deathmantle trigger, causing you to pay  to return Elenda from your graveyard to the battlefield, and attach Nim Deathmantle to it. |
5 | Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing a Vampire token, adding . |
6 | The Vampire dies, triggering Elenda's first ability, putting a +1/+1 counter on Elenda. |
7 | Repeat. |
