How does this combo work?
1 | Cast Hildibrand either from your hand, from exile, or from the command zone by paying plus commander tax, if applicable. |
2 | Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Hildibrand, adding . |
3 | When Hildibrand triggers, it and Pitiless Plunderer trigger. |
4 | Resolve the Hildibrand trigger, allowing you to cast it from your graveyard as an Adventure until the end of your next turn. |
5 | Resolve the Pitiless Plunderer trigger, creating a Treasure token. |
6 | Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding . |
