Steps

1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Karmic Guide, adding .
2. Cast Activated Sleeper by paying , choosing to have it enter the battlefield as a copy of Karmic Guide.
3. Activated Sleeper enters the battlefield, targeting Karmic Guide.
4. Holding priority, activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Activated Sleeper, adding one mana of any color.
5. Resolve the Activated Sleeper trigger, returning Karmic Guide from your graveyard to the battlefield.
6. Karmic Guide enters the battlefield, targeting Activated Sleeper.
7. Holding priority, activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Karmic Guide, adding one mana of any color.
8. Resolve the Karmic Guide trigger, returning Activated Sleeper from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Karmic Guide.
9. Repeat from step 3.
