How does this combo work?

2 | Cast Activated Sleeper by paying , choosing to have it enter the battlefield as a copy of Karmic Guide. |
3 | Activated Sleeper enters the battlefield, targeting Karmic Guide. |
4 | Holding priority, activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Activated Sleeper, adding one mana of any color. |
5 | Resolve the Activated Sleeper trigger, returning Karmic Guide from your graveyard to the battlefield. |
6 | Karmic Guide enters the battlefield, targeting Activated Sleeper. |
7 | Holding priority, activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Karmic Guide, adding one mana of any color. |
8 | Resolve the Karmic Guide trigger, returning Activated Sleeper from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Karmic Guide. |
