How does this combo work?
1 | Activate Yawgmoth by paying 1 life and sacrificing a creature, putting a -1/-1 counter on an opponent's creature and drawing a card. |
2 | Hapatra triggers, creating two 1/1 Snake creature tokens. |
3 | The Snakes enter the battlefield, triggering Essence Warden twice, causing you to gain 2 life. |
4 | Repeat until your opponent control no creatures. |
5 | Activate Yawgmoth by paying 1 life and sacrificing a creature, putting a -1/-1 counter on a Snake token you control and drawing a card. |
6 | The Snake dies as a state-based action due to having 0 toughness. |
7 | Hapatra triggers, creating two 1/1 Snake creature tokens. |
8 | The Snakes enter the battlefield, triggering Essence Warden twice, causing you to gain 2 life. |
