Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Activate Ghave's first ability by paying and removing a +1/+1 counter from a creature you control. |
2 | Holding priority, if you control another creature and have no mana available, activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing another creature, adding . |
3 | Resolve the Ghave ability, creating a 1/1 Saproling creature token. |
4 | When the Saproling enters the battlefield, Ivy Lane Denizen triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on the Saproling. |
5 | Repeat. |
