How does this combo work?
1 | Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing Cathodion. |
2 | Cathodion triggers, adding . |
3 | Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability, putting a +1/+1 counter on it. |
4 | Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing Lesser Manticore. |
5 | Lesser Manticore's persist ability triggers, returning it to the battlefield with a -1/-1 and a vigilance counter. |
6 | Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability, putting a +1/+1 counter on it. |
7 | Activate Tayam by paying  , removing a +1/+1 counter from Carrion Feeder and removing both counters from Lesser Manticore, causing yourself to mill three cards and return Cathodion from your graveyard to the battlefield. |
8 | Repeat. |
