Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Cast Deadly Grub by paying  . |
2 | Deadly Grub enters the battlefield with three time counters and a vigilance counter on it. |
3 | Activate Tayam by paying  and removing the three time counters from Deadly Grub. |
4 | Deadly Grub's vanishing ability triggers, holding priority, activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Deadly Grub, adding  . |
5 | Deadly Grub dies, triggering itself and Abzan Ascendancy. |
6 | Resolve the Deadly Grub trigger, creating a 6/1 Insect creature token. |
