Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing Cathodion. |
2 | Cathodion triggers, adding . |
3 | Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability, putting a +1/+1 counter on Carrion Feeder |
4 | Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing your persist/undying creature. |
5 | The creature's persist/undying ability triggers, returning it to the battlefield with a vigilance counter and the appropriate choice of a +1/+1 or -1/-1 counter. |
6 | Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability, putting a +1/+1 counter on Carrion Feeder |
7 | Activate Tayam by paying  , removing both counters from your persist/undying creature and one counter from another creature, causing yourself to mill three cards and return Cathodion from your graveyard to the battlefield. |
8 | Repeat. |
