- Preston triggers, creating a copy of Mirror Image that is a 0/1 Illusion.
- Choose to have the Mirror Image token enter the battlefield as a copy of Karmic Guide.
- When the Mirror Image token enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning the nontoken Mirror Image to the battlefield from your graveyard.
- Repeat from step 3.
