Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Activate Ashnod's Altar twice by sacrificing Tenacious Tomeseeker and Ministrant of Obligation, adding . |
2 | When Tenacious Tomeseeker and Ministrant of Obligation die, Pitiless Plunderer triggers twice, and Ministrant of Obligation triggers once. |
3 | Resolve both Pitiless Plunderer triggers, creating two Treasure tokens. |
4 | Resolve the Ministrant of Obligation trigger, creating two 1/1 Spirit creature tokens. |
5 | Activate the Treasures by tapping and sacrificing it, adding . |
6 | Cast Back for Seconds by paying  , and choosing to pay its bargain cost by sacrificing a Spirit. |
7 | When the Spirit dies, Pitiless Plunderer triggers, creating a Treasure token. |
8 | Resolve Back for Seconds, returning Tenacious Tomeseeker and Ministrant of Obligation from your graveyard to your hand, and then putting Ministrant of Obligation onto the battlefield. |
9 | Cast Tenacious Tomeseeker by paying , and choosing to pay its bargain cost by sacrificing a Spirit token. |
10 | When the Spirit dies, Pitiless Plunderer triggers, creating a Treasure token. |
