Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Cast the other legendary Elemental for its evoke cost by paying , causing you to sacrifice it as it enters. |
2 | The Elemental's persist ability and Ashling trigger. |
3 | Resolve the Ashling trigger, creating a token copy of the Elemental. |
4 | Resolve the persist trigger, returning the Elemental from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to Vizier of Remedies. |
5 | Put the nontoken Elemental into your graveyard due to the legned rule. |
6 | When the Elemental dies, its persist ability triggers, returning the Elemental from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to Vizier of Remedies. |
7 | Repeat from step 5. |
