In addition to the soft launch of Mood Swings, the new game by Magic: The Gathering Head Designer Mark Rosewater, Wizards is also launching a brand-new Secret Lair Superdrop! Let's also waste no time whatsoever and discuss what's in the Cats Are the Best Superdrop! In this article, you'll find a whole litter of reprinted cards, as well as their price point on the Secret Lair webstore as they drop at 9 AM Pacific (or 12 Noon Eastern) (*: on June 15th). Secret Lair x Garfield: Motivationally Challenged

Despite these drops officially launching on a Monday, Garfield makes a (reluctant) appearance! This drop (one of three involving the iconic orange feline not named Heathcliff) hearkens back to the ever-popular motivational posters of the 1990s and beyond, with a Magic twist.

The contents of Secret Lair x Garfield: Motivationally Challenged include the following:

The second Garfield drop of three is called Garfield: As Intended, a play on, and homage to, the famous phrase "Magic as Richard Garfield intended". The five cards in this drop are iconic cards originally printed in the first set of the game, and have been fitted with comic strip art of the cantankerous, ravenous Garfield himself (not the Magic creator, but the cat).

Talk about a blast from the past! Felix the Cat is a very old property, and is now very much entrenched in the public domain (for the most part; DreamWorks Animation currently owns the rights to later iterations of the character). But hey, let's see what Magic has done for this mangy cat!
