On Monday, August 24th, Wizards of the Coast announced five new Secret Lair drops inspired by He-Man and the Masters of the Universe franchise. Dubbed "The Most Powerful Superdrop in the Universe", the superdrop utilizes Mattel's properties relating to the Eternian powerhouse Adam and his allies and enemies. Secret Lair Press Release

Wizards put out a press release on Monday, August 24th, relating to The Most Powerful Superdrop in the Universe. According to said release, the five drops will come out on September 14th at 9 AM PST/Noon EST, and will each release both in foil for $39.99 and nonfoil for $29.99. Further details are below:

The Superdrop was first teased through select artwork during MagicCon: Amsterdam, giving fans an early look at how Eternia and Etheria are coming to Magic. Across the five drops, The Most Powerful Superdrop in the Universe brings together He-Man, Skeletor, She-Ra, the forces of good and evil, and the unmistakable fantasy action of Masters of the Universe through all-new artwork inspired by the franchise’s classic packaging, animation, and larger-than-life characters.

“When Secret Lair had the opportunity to work with Mattel and Masters of the Universe, we knew there was a real responsibility to honor how much this world means to fans,” said Matthew Hodgins, Director of Secret Lair. “Mattel created something that generations of people have played with, collected, watched, and carried forward in their own imaginations. We were proud to help bring that history to Magic in a way that respects where it came from and gives fans something new to discover.”
