Welcome back to Wombo Combo, your home for finding Commander's best combo cards according to EDHREC and Commander Spellbook.
With the recent Spider-Man set and upcoming Marvel Superheroes set putting a focus on Villains, we're going to take a trip through some of Magic's most prolific villains: the Eldrazi.
Eldrazi were first introduced in the aptly named Rise of the Eldrazi set in 2010, and were the focus of several sets to follow, including Battle for Zendikar and Eldritch Moon.
Alongside Phyrexians, Eldrazi are some of the main villains of the Magic multiverse, wrecking havoc and causing destruction wherever they land.
Soon, they'll also be the bane of your opponents as the Eldrazi demolish them and hand you a victory. Let's see which Eldrazi are best suited for the role.
#10: Endless One
Deck Inclusions 24,222 decks (0.27%)
Endless OneEndless One has a great set of properties for recursion decks. It has a mana cost of with 0 base toughness, meaning it can be cast for and die immediately.
This is useful for Enduring RenewalEnduring Renewal and MortuaryMortuary combos, as there's no mana or sacrifice outlet required. T
he 0 toughness is also optimal for Colfenor, the Last YewColfenor, the Last Yew, as it'll be easily recurred to your hand.
#9: Smothering Abomination
Deck Inclusions: 40,094 decks (0.87%)
Drawing cards is always great in Magic, and Smothering AbominationSmothering Abomination allows you to do so as you sacrifice creatures.
This can be used as a payoff for existing combos, letting you draw your library. Smothering Abomination can also be a catalyst for combos involving cards such as Nadir KrakenNadir Kraken and The Locust GodThe Locust God, creating a circular loop of triggers if you control a sacrifice outlet.
Lyla, Holographic AssistantLyla, Holographic Assistant also benefits from Smothering Abomination by placing counters on creatures.
#8: Sifter of Skulls
Deck Inclusions: 44,885 decks (0.98%)
Sifter of SkullsSifter of Skulls triggers on a nontoken creature's death to create a 1/1 Eldrazi Scion creature token, which can then add mana. It can be used as a piece of redundancy for Pawn of UlamogPawn of Ulamog (which isn't an Eldrazi, funny enough) and even Pitiless PlundererPitiless Plunderer in some combos.
The mana can be used in a variety of ways, from activating Reassembling SkeletonReassembling Skeleton's ability to paying for Nim DeathmantleNim Deathmantle's trigger. The creature can also be sacrificed to pay costs found on cards like Scourge of Nel TothScourge of Nel Toth.
#7: Anticausal Vestige
Deck Inclusions: 61,792 decks (1.15%)
What about an Eldrazi that can draw you a card and cheat a permanent onto the battlefield? Look no further than Anticausal VestigeAnticausal Vestige, which does both when it leaves the battlefield, and can do so twice with its warp ability.
Notably, the cheating scales as you control more lands, letting you cheat Anticausal Vestige out if you control six or more.
Cards like Enduring RenewalEnduring Renewal and Cloudstone CurioCloudstone Curio can use this to great effect. Clone creatures, including Mirror ImageMirror Image, are also great options for more triggers.
#6: Herald of Kozilek
Deck Inclusions: 25,790 decks (1.22%)
Mana is the keystone of Magic, and any opportunity to make more mana or save mana is beneficial. Herald of KozilekHerald of Kozilek simply makes colorless spells cost less, which is perfect for Eldrazi as the majority are colorless.
Another main use of this effect is to reduce the cost of artifacts, including the extremely popular Sensei's Divining TopSensei's Divining Top.
Herald of Kozilek makes Top free, eliminating a need for mana in combos that'll easily draw your entire library. The cost reduction also works great for Evolution WitnessEvolution Witness and Scrap TrawlerScrap Trawler combos.
#5: Glaring Fleshraker
Deck Inclusions: 115,869 decks (1.29%)
Similar to Herald of Kozilek, Glaring FleshrakerGlaring Fleshraker also acts as a cost reducer for colorless spells with some notable differences. First, Glaring Fleshraker creates a 0/1 Eldrazi Spawn creature token, which you can then sacrifice for .
This means you'll need to provide the full mana cost of a spell, and then receive the mana as a rebate of sorts. The main benefit of Glaring Fleshraker is its second ability, which deals 1 damage to each opponent whenever a colorless creature (like the Eldrazi Spawn) enters under your control.
This'll add a free payoff to many of the same combos mentioned above, and combos involving Ulalek, Fused AtrocityUlalek, Fused Atrocity.
#4: Skittering Precursor
Deck Inclusions: 11,325 decks (0.25%)

This'll add extra mana as creatures die, enabling cost reductions and additional death triggers. The extra mana helps pay for Cult ConscriptCult Conscript's activated ability and to cast Chthonian NightmareChthonian Nightmare.
The token can also be sacrificed to trigger Beifong's Bounty HuntersBeifong's Bounty Hunters for earthbending combos.
#3: Eternal Scourge
Deck Inclusions: 24,094 decks (0.27%)
The exile zone, by design, is meant to be harder to get cards from than the library or graveyard. Eternal ScourgeEternal Scourge doesn't care about that, however, as it lets you cast it from exile.
This turns Food ChainFood Chain into a two-card combo that gives you infinite mana for creature spells. Eternal Scourge is great to pair with Rest in PeaceRest in Peace and similar cards, which'll exile Scourge for you.
It's also a great inclusion for several popular commanders, like Prosper, Tome-BoundProsper, Tome-Bound, and has a few options for redundancy, like Squee, the ImmortalSquee, the Immortal and Misthollow GriffinMisthollow Griffin.
